This battle scarred hummer seems to have patched up his wound somewhat,and is trying to catch a bit of shut-eye till the next battle.She appears to be sore and tired.

nice capture, you wonder why they are so feisty. Watched "our" hummers out back today, terrorizing the chickadees, in the butterfly bush (tree). They were really being nasty to the chickadees, wouldn't leave them alone.
