About This Image

This is a female ruby-throated hummingbird,but it has a spot of ruby red on its throat.Its the first time I have seen this.

cute shot, Alex. Yep, we see that on some of our female hummers too. I have one on here with a similar little red spot like that showing, someone hit on it yesterday actually, which is how I recalled it.
