Over here I thinks it's only if one of these little Fantails comes inside, Ive had them in and I just dont worry about it, and sho them off out side before the cat spots them, odd the different superstitions about. Have a very happy New year, thanks for the coment and of the interesting accurence that you had.

Very pretty capture of this dainty looking bird. It's tail looks bigger than it's body. I've always heard if any bird gets into your house it means a death of someone. A big blackbird came into the house "after" my Dads passing and I was there alone...my brother's wife came over..we never found it. Anyhow, nice photo and Happy New Year to you and your's.

They are a lovely bird, and yes always in a hurry, a cheeky little bird, they will fly so close you can almost feel there wings. Alot of people over here believe that if one of these birds come's into your house it a warning of a impending death of someone, I have a brother inlaw who hate's them because of this superstition. Thanks for loking in and comment, I still like them. Happy New Year.
