How to view photos on The Lens Flare
There are many categories for viewing photos. Everyone can view them, but you must be a registered member to leave comments on the photos.On the right side of any page you will see the Galleries On The Lens Flare list. When you click on a category you will be taken to those photos. Click on a photo to see the larger version and read the photographers description. You can also see what tools were used, what date it was taken, and you can click on the members name to go to their gallery. If an even larger version was uploaded, you can click on the link to see the full size version. After viewing a photo, click your back button or backspace key to return to the thumbnails. At the bottom of the thumbnails you will see additional pages for that category or album.
Here are various albums and gallery descriptions:
The Images Of The Moment: These photos can be found on The Lens Flare’s home and artwork pages. These photos are randomly selected each time you visit the page. To view more images, simply refresh the page.
The Most Popular: These photos are based on many different factors such as the number of views, comments, votes, etc. and represent the images with the best score.
The Newest Images: These photos are the newest on the Lens Flare, and this page changes frequently.
The What’s Hot Images: These photos represent those that have had the most activity within the last 24 hours and is updated daily.
The Recently Viewed Images: This page is constantly updated because it shows the images that have been viewed the most recently.
The New Comments Images: These images have recently received a new comment.
Search for Images: Enter in a search for images in the blue box in the upper right portion of the page. You will see a list of pages from The Lens Flare as well as related image thumbnails.
One other way of searching and viewing photos is to click on the “Artwork” tab at the top of any page. On the artwork page you will see some thumbnails of photos. By scrolling down under the thumbnail photos you will see a list of “Popular Artwork Galleries” just click on the gallery name to be taken to those photos. At the bottom of the pages you can go to the next page by clicking on the page number.
Lastly, you can view the photos that were entered into the past and present contests by clicking on the Contest tab at the top of any page. To view the photos from any contest, click on the “View Contest Entries” link on the contest you wish to view. When it is time to vote, click on the “Vote On Pictures” link. You will need to be logged in to vote in the contest.
