The colors are so vibrant. I wish we had been able to see the flowers in Vancouver. This has such a nice depth of field.

Just had to add one more comment. This picture caught my eye and I think it is just fabulous. Reminds me of spring in the greater northwest. I have been to the tulip festival in Arlington, WA.and loved it.

Hi, Fred (or is it Frank, sorry have had a memory lapse : ) -- about the lens and aperture settings on this shot. I had it set on "auto exposure" - exposure Bias F/1.0. Exposure Time 1/250 second. F 4.0 Max Aperture F/2.0 (2.06) Focal length 9.7 mm ISO speed 100, white balance auto.

Wow, this is wonderful. I miss the Great NorthWest. On a couple of occassions I went to the Tulip Festival near Mount Vernon, Washington (not so far from you). I loved it. This image brings back happy memories. Enjoy the season.
