Wings 3D - Wings 3D

Wings 3D is a free 3d low-poly modeling program available at www.wings3d.com.  It's a great place to get started learning how to shape 3d primitives into specific objects.  I've used it to build a sword, a battle tank, and I modified a humanoid figure from Poser into the shape of an orc.   It's fairly simple to use - more simple anyway than the enterprise modeling programs like 3D Studio Max, etc.    I use it to create simple props for images I then render in Daz Studio's Bryce. 

This is a great tool for the beginner that wants to learn how to create 3D graphics.
