Canon - Zoom Telephoto EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM Autofocus Lens

I would recommend this lens to anyone who is looking for an all purpose telephoto lens.  I generally use this lens for wildlife and some landscape photography.  I have occassionally used this lens for newspaper submissions of local events.  It is a real trooper and I have put it through its paces.  I give it a "good" rating because Canon's  f/2.8 IS lens varient is clearly superior.  But, when you consider the price differential, this lens is an outstanding value for the money.
