Wild touch me not

I think the touch me not name comes from the seed pods on this plant. You can see it hanging in the photo. But when the pods are plump if you touch they explode and it releases the seeds. use to play with these all the time when i was a kid

pretty colour, have never seen these before, why are they called "touch me not", do they sting like a nettle? have seen and grown the regular snapdragons, and the leaves look different.
