that's very nice of you, Tania, many thanks. I am quite pleased at how the butterfly images turned out, as they were captured with the telephoto lens, not macro. I don't have a macro lens yet.

thanks Carol for the nice comments. Must check the name of the flower/shrub also, as have forgotten. This butterfly was going crazy over it and moving from floret to floret, feeding from it.

thanks very much, Lorraine. Am hoping this visit from this butterfly signals more butterflies this summer than there have been here, the past few summers, as we've had hardly any here and I miss them fluttering about in amongst the flowers.
