Thank you, Alandra and Mary Slade, for your nice comments. There wasn't much snow on the side facing Vancouver, Infact, they were using a snow machine on Grouse Mountain. The time of day really helped with the color and shadows--early morning.

Great picture- the shape of it really stresses the height. The sky so blue and to see little shadows of the trees. Lovely image.

nice to see more of your Vancouver area shots, Karen : ) We were just commenting this evening, enroute north towards Vancouver, - at how much fresh snow appears to be on the surrounding mountains, and remarked that am sure there's more snow than when you were here. No wonder it's still cool at nights. Very unusual spring.
