About This Image

This is along the Arizona portion of the Great Western Tail, which goes from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. That would be quite a walk, even through the Arizona portion of the trail.

Yes! Right now is the time to be out there. I used to do a lot of camping on the desert during this time of year. It can get downright chilly out there.

Thanks! When I look at this, I imagine myself plodding along this trail in mid-summer. I guess I see it that way because the heat is such a pervading force here. But, I took this photo in the fall and it was warm, but not hot. I LOVE it here during the cooler months!!!
