Oh, I'm so sad to hear these lovely trees did not survive. But nature is amazing...I believe they will grow again. Beautiful shot, by the way.

thought the same things, Karen. Thought of Dud's photos, also, many times throughout all this news coverage since the catastrophe, and also recognized some of the names of places that Dud has mentioned. It's such a relief to know Dud and family are all okay.

I was SO GLAD to read your message. So many of the things mentioned in the news I recognized because of your pictures. At least you have preserved something that may no longer exist. That is one of the best things about photography.
