About This Image

This shot was taken a couple of days after the big oil spill in San Francisco Bay. In the image is the Bay bridge which was struck. Most of the oil headed out of the Bay, so this area was only lightly damaged. This beach area was closed.

Nicely captured layers with the large wading bird standing against a lighter background. I hope this bird was able to avoid the contamination.
