Thanks for all your comments. They're always very welcome and I know it takes time to stop and compose them but it's always nice to know what others think about your work. Yes, Carol, he caught me when I was trying to capture his friends, so I didn't see him coming. It didn't really hurt...just took me unawares :) Chris, Thanks, as always for the info'- it's really good that you have all this knowledge. Very nice macro Jas, it's called a 'Muscovy Duck' an all year round Florida reident in urban parks pond and lakes. Nests at base of trees and roosts in trees at night.
