thanks Anne, for the lovely comments, am happy these brought back nice memories for you. I plan to use a different lens and return to that garden and take some more images, as feel this could be sharper. Took this one from the open vehicle window, from quite a distance. (in a rush as usual, and want to spend more time next time)

How very beautiful!!! Thanks, Alandra, for the treat. My Mother had Oriental Poppies in her flower garden and I always loved them. So it was a trip to the past, for me. The brilliance of these is absolutely wonderful. Great picture. Wonderful!
