Hi Jas, Thanks very much for the nice comment and info about this little bird. I'm glad you liked my photo and blurry background. I really like my 75-300mm lens, it's so easy to blur out the background.

Lovely shot of this little bird Alan. He does look like he's a type of Finch and very atheletic too, being able to balance so well on the end of the branch. The nice blurred background makes sure that the bird is the main focus of your attention. :)

Hi Ann, and Carol.. Thanks for your wonderful comments. I have been seeing these little birds for the last couple weeks now. I thought it was interesting how it picked the very end of the branch to land on. I guess if you don't weigh much you can land on the small branches.

Cute little yeller bird, has all the markings of a finch Anyways perched on the branch the bird makes for a beautiful photo. Carol
