About This Image

I noticed a 4"x4" post which had some strange Lichen on it. When I took a closer look, I noticed it had gone to spore or fruited? I have never seen Lichen do this before. Not that I spend a lot of time spying on lichen, just thought it was cool. Thanks for looking. Don

this is interesting and very well presented, Don. Really like it. Have also never seen lichen looking like that. Just noticed this image and glad I didn't miss it.

Nice macro, and interesting composition! That's the "British Soldier" lichen. Bruce

The captures themselves are wonderful and the way you have presented them is very cleaver and eyecatching. Love the finished result

Interesting and pretty photo. Is the top part a macro of the Lichen? You do nice photoart in Arcsoft.
