closer view of the resting hummingbird. Resting on the Crocosmia branch (or falling stars flowers) which seem to be his fave nectar right now. It looks like the hummer might be moulting.

thankyou Karen, - it does seem like that : ) - but I was in the house at the window, quite a distance from the hummer. I wish they would pose for me
