Sorry Lulu, your photo is lovely. The foliage looks really good with the random directions and the shadows - and then there is the brilliant purple of the Iris (and you know I love purple).

We have 2 dark purple ones (this one included) and 2 pale purple ones now. They are gorgeous, but haven't been able to capture their full beauty ... yet! Our daffodils are popping out now too - don't they know it's supposed to be winter!

Mel never got to pick this one as my sister has just taken a photo of it and it is fully open. Hope she puts it in her gallery as the colour is even more vibrant.

Don't you dare pick it! Its the only one in the garden and Shirree will be upset. Maybe when some more come out, then you can go and pick it. I think all our flowers think its spring already. As for the colours, my camera seems to do a really good job I think.
