About This Image

This is Dani, 3 yrs. old. She is at home with Bear Creek Big Cat Rescue in Youngstown, FL. This is a beautiful, intimate facility where exotic cats, like this Florida panther, are rehomed due to a variety of reasons. Dani is smitten with her human, and I enjoyed a wonderful morning in the company of her human and cat family.

She lets her owner play and cuddle her. She purrs so loud and has this marvelous enclosed catwalk to the deck of the second story of the house. When Jim's wife is away, he lets her in the house. I almost adopted a cougar from Iowa when I lived in CA, but thought better of it since we were only renting a house. I think I'm going to volunteer a day a week.
