many thanks Carol. Have just been out there dead-heading the spent blooms. the rain kindof spoils them, but there are lots more to come and some already blooming and very pretty still. I love dahlias.

appreciate your nice comments, Golda, thankyou, -- yep, these are my favorite dahlias too. Also like the "spider 'mums" that resemble these as well.

I love this spikey variety also.These are very beautiful,and a great color.
