About This Image

Poppies on our front patio, reminiscent of Moonlight and Satin. Digitally manipulated image. Petals look as smooth as satin.

Hi Wilma, many thanks for your nice comments. Have always been quite pleased at how this one turned out, but think I lost it when the hard drive crashed. But believe I still have the original poppy photos, so should try sometime to re-create this :)

These look like fine satin or opaque glass. It the first thing I thought of on viewing them. Gorgeous.

Hi Sandrak, thanks very much for the nice comments. I did this sometime ago, and can't really recall how I got there :) so would have to do it all over again and hope to come out with the same results, as I seem to have "lost" the original of this manipulated one, during a hard drive meltdown before Xmas. I did back up on an external HD, so thought things were safe, but so far have not found this image on the external drive.

Great shot! Love the way you digitally 'enhanced' it :) Would make a great poster or something.
