About This Image

Just got back from Chincoteque Island,Virginia,My favorite place to photograph birds. This is a Snowy Egret in full plumish, the breeding season is close, All comments are welcome.

He's a beautiful bird, and I love the detail of his feathers. (assuming that he's a male, of course). This image has great depth of field as well.

What an exciting bird,(no need for hair gel)such delicate feathers and that beck looks dangerous but beautiful.

This is cool :) It's still a beautiful bird but this shot gives it a special character.

Wonderful photo and great title. I like the lighting on the egrets head against the dark background.
