About This Image

This photo was taken last month. I have been playing around with Photoshop and have decided to submit a few. I have mixed emotions on this one. My husband says it is too red (but then he's not very creative - sorry Michael). It was a mixture of lighting effects and coloured filters - I think :-) Anyway, hope you like it.

Thanks for your positive comment Tania. Yes, I have to agree with Dean about Michael and engines. I've come to the conclusion of "what would he know about art?" But in spite of his lack of understanding, I still love him to bits.

Lulu this is fantastic dont listen to michael. I love the colour and It allows you to focus on the bird and the pole. Any less red and it would look plain well done(from Me). You know him if it doesnt have an engine it wont capture his attention. (from Dean)

Thanks for your comment Dud. I've had nothing but nice comments from people I have shown this photo too (apart from my husband that is) so I guess I think its kind of neat now. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Thanks for your comments Mel and Shirree. Mel, I'm not sure I can do what you suggested but I will no doubt have a play around. Shirree, the two cats still aren't getting on but we made some progress with Flame not growling when Robbie walked past. Yes, I will post some photos but really hard to photograph with the contrast of black and white on him.

Glad to see you added this one Lu. I think it's cool, almost like it has a halo round the gull. I'm waiting to see some pics of your new family member ;-)

Hi Lulu, This is really cool or hot should I say! Love the colour filter and spot filtering. Are you able to just have the bird adn spot filtering in red - but leave the rest in normal colour??? I don't yet know what PS is capable and really want to have a play myself.

Thanks Alandra. I'm still on the fence with this one. There must have been something in it though for me to add it to my gallery.
