thanks to all of you, Carol, Don and Janice. glad you like it. thought it was a pretty little bird, quite dainty compared to the house sparrows. They sing at night in the wintertime too : ) I've heard them when out there with the dogs, late on cold winters nights. It's a plaintive song, very sweet
