Koi/Carp at the Bloedel Conservatory, Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver, BC. The orange and white Koi that is below the other 2, is Very big! It was hard to isolate the large Koi to get a shot of it.

glad you like it, Robyn. Your lilypond sounds so nice. We don't have any fish in ours, as we believe the great blue herons would go fishing in it - one snowy day a year or so ago, a GB heron did land right at our fishpond. DH saw it, I missed it, but saw the marks his feet left in the snow on the wall above the pond : )

Your koi series is great. I think that the black and orange one that is above the orange/white one is a shebunkin. I have a lily pond filled with koi, shebunkin and white gold fish. It is peaceful and I love it.

I don't know the reasons but they made one pet store owner get rid of all his Koi according to the news last week.

Nice looking carp. I once got in trouble in school for an honost mispronounciation of the name. The teacher then had to explain the problem.
