This is a river in the Blue Ridge Mountains that we were driving beside for some time. I found a spot to pull over, took off my socks and shoes rolled up my pants legs and with snow still on the ground in places, I walked and stumbled out to the middle to get this shot. It is crazy to think what some people ( I ) will do for a picture.
