For the price, this is a great lens to own. I use this lens to shoot indoors because the aperture is so big that I hardly ever need to use a flash especially when I raise the ISO to 1600. The only downside is that 50mm (75mm film equivalent), is a little long for full body shots indoors but is great for close ups.
