Thank you for your visit and nice words. I wish we could have seen the flowers. The web site for the gardens has a picture very similar to mine showing the garden in winter. I like how the late afternoon light highlighted the bare branches which otherwise might have not been so visible.

Thank you. Alandra and Jas, for your visit and kind words. Yes, Alandra, we took a day trip to Vancouver Island. I loved the ferries. We had dinner on the cruise back. I would love to return someday when all the flowerws are blooming.

forgot to say, that this is a really pleasing image. It reminds me of a painting. There's still quite a bit of colour in the trees, despite the cold weather. The image has its own stark beauty.

that really was a cold spell when you were here, Karen. Didn't realize you'd visited Vancouver Island/Victoria etc while you were here. Hope you can visit again sometime during the summer.
