About This Image

I cropped this photo of an old mansion on Pittsburgh's North Side because there were too many distractions on the street, in front of the home, ect, so just showing the upper part of the home.

Thanks for looking and leaving comments Don and Alex. I love looking at these "older" homes and taking photos of them. :)

Very cool old mansion capture Mary. It was quite the show home in it's day I imagine, still is. Pittsburgh has some great old architecture. Nice work! Don

Steve, I agree with you regarding the branches but couldn't eliminate them unless I spent a long time in photoshop. When I was taking photos on this street, there were cars parked all along it and that in itself was annoying and distracting so I gave up. I would like to go back another day with a different lens maybe...because this street has a lot of homes with different architecture. Thanks for viewing and commenting. I appreciate it.

Intriguing detail in the brick and stone work. I agree with Carol about the reflected trees, but I do think the foreground branches distract the eye a bit.

Gorgeous, also like the branches reflecting in the windows. Carol
