Alandra. I'll have to look for those if I ever get up that way again. Alex. Yes, it is still bursting out. Many of the more delicate wildflowers are already gone. As soon as they feel the least bit of heat, they dry up. But others are taking their place. The cactus flowers will last well into the summer months.

another name for them is "poor man's orchid", - we used to grow them in planters each summer, very pretty. there's another nickname that I can't think of. a dear friend told me about them years ago, so always remember her whenever we see them.

oh, guess that answers my earlier question, as if these are the same flowers under the tree, can see now they are not foxgloves. very dainty and pretty, almost like schizanthus.
