About This Image

One calm evening after catching a few hundred small bait fish for the cats,I deceided to take a side road and investigate other views, the sun had sunk below the horizon, leaving a beautiful twilight evening, the Island called Waiheke(why-hecky)is still getting some light in the distance.
Waiheke is a place which started out being a bach/vacation type of resort but over the past decade or so people, live there permanently now and commute to Auckland daily for work which takes about 20-30 mins by Catamaran.
Kennedy Point is the end of the island featured in this photo and the main port of call is located there.

Well I have to say I like the vignetting effect. It's kind of like viewing a stage scene or looking thru an arched window. :) Beautiful!

Thanks Carol for your feed-back,most visitors to New Zealand fall in love with the Kiwi way of life and beautiful beaches,Steve I do care what you think and appreciate your honesty,I had this image and the same one without the vignetting and it was my wifes choice that I posted this one,so I'll post it with out the vignetting cause that was my first choice, thanks regards Vincent

Hi Vincent I love the light in this image, and once again the silhouetting of the foreground really works. But I have to be honest and say I don't personally like the vignetting effect you've added to the sky - although I'm sure you don't have to care what I think!! Steve
