About This Image

This is an ideal location on Lower Lake to watch Barred Owls, Turkey Vultures, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Canada Geese, Blackburnian Warblers, Kingfishers, Red-breasted Nuthatches and Northern Waterthrush as well as a variety of small mammals. . .

. . . that's what the literature says. All I saw were two Canada Geese here, though I did see several mallards on Promised Land Lake just across the street.

Thank you for your generous comment, Beverly. This is on my wallpaper right now and I enjoy the feeling of movement it presents. Vicki

Nice composition - I like the foreground interest that leads your eye through the image.

A lovely photo, Vicki. It has great sense of depth, and I like the way the reflection in the water is part dark, part light.
