About This Image

It has been raining practically every day for the past couple of months. (You would think we were living in Seattle). Finally, we had a break between the storms, so I went out for some shots at sunset. Came up with this beauty. Manificent light was splashing off of the many puddles.

Great color and lovely composition. We have the opposite problem--no rain and very few clouds. Even the wildflowers have been scarce around here.

Thanks for the comment. Since it rained almost all day, there were plenty of puddles around. As the sunset unfolded, I selected a spot with maximum reflection opportunity. I have realized that having a person in most landscape shots usually adds something to the photo. Always make an effort to allow someone to walk across my frame and capture them in the shot. Usually works well.

That really is a vibrant sunset. The reflections and the silhouette of the man walking make the picture
