thanks, Corbin, Austin, Deb, Dud and Randy. That sounds right Randy, re it being a Lesser black backed gull, as it was smaller also than regular gulls, as well as the black back feathers fitting the description. thanks.

Very cute shot. The pink feet does throw you a bit. Just going from memory, but I think the Lesser Black-backed Gull has pink feet.

thanks Karen, yeah, guess it's some type of smaller gull. The pattern on the water is from the reflection of the red roof of the Charthouse eatery which can be seen in some of the other shots.
