Hi Corbin, thanks for the advice, I didn't use the self timer. I will in future though. I have some night traffic light shots that I took several times untill I dicovered the self timer which made all the difference.

Hello Grahameg. If you used a tripod did you use the self timer on your camera? in such low light the movement that you get from pressing the shutter release will give you blur. I suggest you set your self timer on the camera and try this shot again. A wonderful Idea and would be perfect if not for the blur.

I think it's got a lovely glow. Perhaps you need to use a tripod in the low light. Maybe you could glue the kids down for a few seconds!! lol!

very nice idea. cant advise about your question, sorry. but think the effect you have here is just right. nice to see a pic of your "grands". I have one grand daughter too, and 2 grand sons.
