About This Image

The morel mushroom, gem of the forest. It is that time of year again. A few Morel mushrooms are popping. I had a small feast last night and ate 27 of them, they were all small. We need a little rain to get more of them up. Ya got to love spring! Thanks for looking. Don

I've not come across any of these, here, in England. They are a really interesting shape and texture; great detailed macro! :)

Yummm! These are my favorite mushrooms, Don. My daughter's live near good gathering grounds for them in SW Michigan - nobody EVER reveals their best picking spots! Great capture . . . guess I'll settle for steak on the grill without morels tonight! (Tell Lorraine that they are indeed, magick . . . specially when being eaten!!!) Vicki

LOL, you know, they might be magic mushrooms Lorraine. I am seeing old Indian women in the neighbors dog. :-) Gosh, I'm nutz. Don
