Our friends, Chester and Sandy normally have a terrific seasonal setup with their RV here by the docks. Instead, their RV is safe on the high ground and the docks are floating about 12 feet above their normal spot - 3 days after The flooding peaked another 6 feet above where I was standing.

Thanks for your kind thoughts, Mary. We were right in the thick of it - we evacuated to the east, near Danville - US 11 was already flooding in spots and Danville was putting up water breaks and sandbags when we went through - from I-80 we headed west about 40 miles where we were safe.

Vicki, very interesting photos of the flood area. I thought of you and hoped you were safe when they announced that the Susquehanna was flooding.Thanks for sharing.
