Surprised Yellow Bird

Hi Ann, Thanks very much :-) I was lucky to get this photo. I don't see these tiny birds very often and still haven't figured out there name. There a little bigger than a Hummingbird but smaller than a Finch and they fly really fast.

It looks like he only wanted you to have one shot thay day,you did well with the time allotted. LOL That looks like our goldfinch from this angle.

Yes, he does have a 'surprised' look about him. He's very pretty though. Great capture Alan, as, in my experience, small birds never stay around long enough to get the camera focused properly. :)

Hi Carol, Yea maybe they are getting use to me, they should I'm the one who builds there little houses and gives them food and water. This one noticed me standing in our front door, stood up, I took the shot, then it flew away. I'm starting to think that birds don't like having there photos taken LOL...
