These little Butternut Friends dwell in my co workers office. One day she came to work and found somebody (not me) had given them faces.

Dear I say it - but I'm afraid to say someday soon they will be made into ....PULP! The poor things!

I'm afraid I have to tell you all this - One of our Butternut friends had taken ill and to stop the fungal infection spreading all our friends have been pulped and made into PUMPKIN SOUP!

My Mom would've laughed to see this! She used to paint faces on her squash from her garden!

Yes Alandra. This someone is always playing jokes with Sophie. It's hilarous to see what they get up to. Good old office humor. Yes Butternut is yummy with lots of butter and seasoning. Also really yummy on the BBQ with curry spices and coconut. Buttercup Squash is the typical favourite though in New Zealand.

someone has a good sense of humour : ) butternut squash is one of our "faves". we slice them up and cook them in the microwave, serve with lots of butter and s/pepper, yum.
