An evening view of Auckland with Mt Hobson to the right and Manukau in the foreground,Sky Tower with Auckland City Business Disrict far right.

In this image I have had a strong red factor to start with and Edited it to show more virbrant colors,have spent time with the gradation curve to enhance the foreground and evened it out further with the same curve,some detail is lost but upon down sizing gain a little back.

Don yes that is the sun's final rays and it reddened a little more with tweeking,cheers Vince.

Very cool composition Vincent. I like to tweek photos, but would never think to push this far. Really nice effect, and interesting composition. The one lit-up building, is that lights, sun or effect? Cool, Don

Yes Steve I have brought out the foreground and then continue on the same curve to pick up other colors to bring a more all over look.Cheers for your feed-back much appreciated, regards Vince

This sky looks really angry! I assume the work with the gradation curve was to bring out some of the shadow detail in the foreground. Or have I misunderstood you?
