Thanks folks. The shot was taken in late afternoon. I'm facing south and the light is coming in from my right.

Great shot Gary. I like the way the light and shade plays on the mountain ridge in the middle distance. What time of day did you take the shot?

The photo was taken on the north side of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Just on the other side of this chain of mountains is the city of Tucson. I have been in this area many times, but had never stopped to look it over. I fell in love with it. I'd like to live there.
