thankyou Alex and Karen, : ) liked your rosepetal bath comment. sad to say, there won't be any more rose petals in the "stream"/bird bathing area, as we had to cut the climbing rose down, it got infected too badly.

thanks, Carol, Janice and Shreekant. Agree with you about "the look", Shreekant : ) Always think that "our" North American Robins look a bit "cross". Guess I'm comparing them with the European/British Robins, which are so cheery and cheeky looking. But I love these guys too, altho the birds of my childhood have a special place in my heart.
