thanks anne the sun was going down at the time i took it and just to let you know the castle has been around since the year 1070 and was mentioned in the domesday book of 1086 hope this helps x steve the seconds er about 30 lol

I liked the contrast - Light and Dark. Was the Light going to take over or the Dark? *g* I like to see these old castles too. So much history here. I wonder how long it took to build it?*g* So glad you took the picture.

hi tania to say it was cold was an understatment it was cold enough to freeze the balls of a brass monkey! and the history is quiet amaizing if you look it up thanks for the comment x
