This extinct volcano sits in the Auckland harbour,with day trips by boat and a small train takes you near the top.

Taken with a 300mm lens from Point View looking East.

Thank you Anne for your thoughts on this pic,this was an early morning scene and the sun was about to show from behind this Island,the border has been Vignetted which concentrates light to the center helping this image along with the inverting which changed the outside color blue,thanks for looking in, regards Vince.

I love these encircled pictures - and this one is great. It looks like a sea serpent with a curled tail lying on a cloud on the top of the picture.
