About This Image

Taken at Innes Common, Hamilton Lake, at this year's 'Balloons Over Waikato' Festival. I'd never viewed the balloons landing on the water from this position before and it gives quite a different mood from my usual vantage point, round to the right.

This has such a magical and serene feel to it with the soft fog playing at the top of the water. The composition is great, as one doesn't get to see hot air balloons every day. The baloon is framed perfectly between the houses, trees and shrubbery. Very nice work
