Hi Ann, Thank You Very Much! I'm glad you enjoyed this photo and seeing the rough countryside I hike around in. It has been so nice here lately, our trees are starting to bud and the jackets are no longer needed. :)

Alan, the textures and colors are so wonderfully captured in this photograph. The rocks jutting out amoungst the poppies make this such a beautiful photo.

An unusual combination....poppies and cactus. I like all the different textures and colouring in this shot; the soft poppies and grass against the hard, angular rocks and spiny cactus and then you have a perfectly blue sky. Lovely! :)
