Pink Ladyslipper

Anne, I too remember scholdings from my Mom not to pick the ladyslippers. This was on my sisters property near Concord MA. A few of the pics I have posted came from there, taken while I took a stroll thru a portion of their land. Thanks for the comments everyone.

This is such a wonderfully captured ladyslipper. I recall seeing them around the camps at the lake when I was a young girl.

I remember my first encounter with a lady slipper. I picked it and brought it home. My Mother gave me a spanking. *LOL* Lady Slippers were too precious to be picked. But how very beautiful they are. An excellent capture of a precious (in West Virginia) flower!
