thanks Ikka, for the nice compliments. glad you like it. we've really enjoyed these flowers this year, - but for some reason the hummingbirds haven't been sipping from them as much as they did last summer. Too many bees around the foxgloves perhaps.

Hi Steve, thanks for your comments too, and also for helping me out on the message board. About the macro lens. No, I ret'd it and got an extra wide angle lens, 16-35L version2. Haven't used it much yet, but do like it very much. The lens I used to capture this foxglove image is my 24-105L lens. Just noticed that I put the incorrect lens in "tools" above, so will alter that now.
