About This Image

"Can I get out too?" Our golden retriever, Penny, at about 8 months old. That pickup truck seldom left the driveway without her in it, regardless of where we were going, anyplace was fun.

I thought I would say how sweet Penny was and excited to join the person outside the truck. Animals live life in the moment and it's wonderful to see them when they are with the one they like the most. I thought I would mention as to Zoe sitting in her carseat capture, she and Einstein do have the same expression. LOL It's uncanny!

Sorry to read about the loss of Penny. I am sure she has taken the love you gave with her. I have on my chest of drawers a plaque that reads, "The more people I meet the more I like my dog"

Wonderful image of Penny - so typical of any dog to watch and hope to get out.. Sorry for your loss, it's hard to lose them as they become your children.

I love everything about this photo. The colors, the expression on her face and obvious great life you gave her. Sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing this sweet memory with us. ~Shawna

I'm so sorry you lost her, but also she lived to a good age, I have two Goldies and I also dread the thought of losing them, It sounds like she had a good life with you so I'm sure she's not to far away from you in spirit.

such a happy photo of Penny, sorry she's no longer with you. She reached a good age tho, as I've heard the larger breeds don't live as long as the smaller dog breeds. I worry about our 2 yellow Labrador Retrievers too, and dread the idea of losing them.
